What is Dead Decor?

Dead Decor is a small project of 500 unique backgrounds (rooms), made using a selection of 27 custom made items. It's an art based project with a focus on bringing additional character and customisation to your profile picture. Inspired by the amazing art for DeadFellaz but open to all!

Minting & First Dibs

Minting takes place on this site, the cost is 0.05 Eth for 'First Dibs' (presale), and 0.07 Eth for the public sale. Due to the focus of this project, there's no blind minting - Pick a room that suits you or your PFP! The maximum per wallet for public mint is three rooms (including any First Dibs rooms).

The First Dibs list is already full and was first come, first served in the Discord server. There are 100 people on the list, and each can select one to room to reserve. This still leaves 400 for public sale so there should still be plenty of choice if you're not on the list.

Secondary Sales

You're free to sell and buy rooms using OpenSea. The contract has also been optimised to save you the initial listing fee that a lot of projects have. On the OpenSea collection, you'll notice the rooms all have a Charcoal background colour - the room you buy will be available as a transparent PNG file and when combined with your Fella using our tool will adopt your Fellaz' background colour.

What comes next

It's important to recognise that this is a passion project for me (Luma), expanding on the PFP concept in a fun way with a selection of rooms that bring extra customisation was the end goal.

Roadmaps filled with promises create a lot of pressure and take some of the fun out of creating. That being said, there are a few things lined up in the near future which will be announced via Twitter and Discord. Also a few of you have talked about banner versions of your rooms, I hear you and am looking into it. 

One thing I can say for sure, is I'll be working on a much smaller DDC collection of 1/1 rooms that will probably be auctioned or raffled. From then on, we'll see where the concept goes! 

My PFP doesn't look right

We've programatically removed the background of all 10,000 Fellaz. There's a chance that something might have gone wrong with yours, but not to worry! Drop a message in the kitchen channel on Discord and we'll take a look and fix it up asap.

Is it safe to connect my wallet?

Connecting your wallet only allows us to view your wallet's address, which we use to check what Fellaz and Dead Decor rooms you own on the Ethereum blockchain.

The only time we'll ask you to sign a transaction is when you're minting a room in the First Dibs period or the public sale.
